CCM Eminent Scholar in Chamber Music James Tocco will not be performing at this evening’s Eminent Scholar Recital. The Amernet String Quartet will still perform as scheduled. Revised event details follow:

Emmy Award-Winning Student Video: Today Cincinnati

Congratulations to recent CCM Electronic Media Division graduates Dustin Chow and Steven Shaefer on their 2010 National Student Emmy Award-win. Chow and Shaefer won the Emmy for “Music-Best Use” for their experimental musical montage, “Today,” featuring an original song composed by Shaefer and performed by the band Where They Landed, of which both Shaefer and Chow are members. “Today” was also a nominee in the “Music-Composition” category.
