CCM Preparatory and Community Engagement offers a wide variety of programs in Music, Dance and Theatre Arts for youth and teens of all skill levels — including arts enthusiasts looking for a fun summer experience and motivated students preparing for a future in the performing arts.
CCM Prep provides enjoyable and accessible arts opportunities within a highly creative environment that educate and inspire the whole student. Courses are taught by CCM Prep faculty members and guests artists.

YOUTH PROGRAMS
FUTURE STARS
9 a.m.-noon | June 4-8
For ages 3-6
Each day of this playful camp, future stars will make believe, twirl on their toes, march to the drum and learn about the performing arts — all while having fun.

CAMP CCM
9 a.m.-5 p.m. | June 11-15
For ages 7-9 (Grades 1-3)
Experience all of CCM in one week! This multi-arts camp lets you choose your “major” — music, theatre or dance while enjoying something new in your electives each day!

THE CCM EXPERIENCE
9 a.m.-5 p.m. | July 9-20
For ages 8-15 (Grades 3-9)
Do you love the arts? Love performing? Love to move? Spend two weeks in one of the finest performing arts schools in the country and take classes in your area of expertise. A final showcase will put you on one of CCM’s many stages. In addition to concentrated work in your area, each day you’ll have the chance to try something new, take a tour, DIY props, costumes and instruments. You can only get a program like this at CCM where dance, theatre and music live together!

CAMP BRAVO AT ST. THOMAS EPISCOPAL CHURCH

For ages 7-14
Prepare yourself for applause, cheers and rave reviews with our musical theatre camp. Acquire the skills to become a triple threat with acting, dance and voice classes taught by the professional teaching artists of CCM Preparatory. Take a bow at the concluding performance!

TEEN PROGRAMS
HIGH SCHOOL ARTS IMMERSION
June 17-30 for all programs other than FortiCCMo and Jazz Academy
Spend two weeks surrounded by peers from throughout the nation who share your passion, excitement and dreams. CCM offers an unparalleled immersive experience, allowing you to explore the arts and learn from the best. Programs are generally for rising sophomores through seniors. Housing is available for these programs. Detailed housing information is available on the website. The following workshops are all part of High School Arts Immersion:
VOICE WORKSHOP
For grades 10-12 — rising sophomores, juniors and seniors
Students will work in master class settings with CCM voice and acting faculty, CCM Preparatory faculty and professional vocal coaches to develop healthy vocal delivery, strong interpretation, language skills and physical freedom in their singing. Optional private lessons are available.
ACTING WORKSHOP
For grades 10-12 — rising sophomores, juniors and seniors
The High School Acting workshop is an intensive two-week program where students study movement for the actor, stage combat, the Sanford Meisner technique, practical acting skills, rehearsal process, professional demeanor, audition technique and acting as a career. Faculty includes CCM Preparatory, CCM faculty plus guest artists and instructors.
BALLET INTENSIVE WORKSHOP
For ages 14-18, intermediate though advanced dancers
The Ballet Workshop offers a comprehensive training program for young men and women specializing in ballet technique, pointe, battiere, pas de deux, ballet repertoire, ballet variations and modern dance in a state-of-the-art ballet facility. In addition, it will offer classes in hip-hop, jazz, character dance, Pilates, injury prevention and nutrition. The program is comprised of daily and evening classes. It will also offer seminars by guest teachers and speakers to supplement the student’s learning and interest.
FORTICCMO PIANO WORKSHOP
June 17-23
For grades 9-12 — rising freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors
The FortiCCMo Piano Immersion Workshop is a week-long intensive piano program that aims to nurture talented high school piano students. Students will have the opportunity to take lessons with CCM esteemed faculty, collaborate with their peers in chamber music and perform in concerts and master classes. Students will gain an understanding of what it means to be a piano major at CCM and will get a glimpse of life as a professional musician.
JAZZ ACADEMY
June 18-22
For ages 14-18
CCM Jazz Academy offers an outstanding experience to study jazz performance with professional musicians in a variety of settings. Daily ensemble rehearsals will be augmented with classes in jazz theory, jazz arranging, improvisation, and jazz listening, as well as master classes with guest artists and faculty members. Faculty includes CCM Preparatory and college instructors, along with guest artists and teachers. The week concludes with a performance by the student combos and Jazz Ensemble.

PRIVATE MUSIC LESSONS
Private music lessons are offered throughout the year to students of all ages. There are opportunities for short-term music lessons for students just wishing to study during the summer.
