Lyrical wind music, Russian folk sounds and a rarely performed cantata highlight the College-Conservatory of Music (CCM)’s “Stravinsky Festival,” presented by the CCM Chamber Choir, Chorale, Concert Orchestra and Chamber Players on Sunday, March 6 at 4 p.m. in Corbett Auditorium. Tickets are $10 for general admission, $5 for non-UC students and free for UC students. Earl Rivers, Brett Scott, Mark Gibson and Rodney Winther conduct.

CCM’s Annual Prism Concert Celebrates the Season of Love
CCM presents the 14th annual Prism Concert at 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 18 in Corbett Auditorium. This concert event features the CCM Wind Symphony, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Lab Band, UC Men’s Chorus, Percussion Group Cincinnati, Chamber Winds and others performing an entertaining mix of love songs just following the quintessential day of love, Valentine’s Day.
CCM Winds Announce Winter 2011 Concert Series
The College-Conservatory of Music Wind Studies program ushers in a new year with a musical tour of the world, beginning with a concert that features both local compositions and those from abroad. Conductors Rodney Winther and Terence Milligan lead these respected groups in modern works and classics and bring their knowledge of innovative, exotic repertoire to the Cincinnati area.

One week from today, on Jan. 21, CCM opens its doors to host a very special event: “A Moveable Feast.” Back by popular demand, the city’s favorite fundraiser allows guests to sample live performances from our students and faculty and take exclusive back-stage tours of our state-of-the-art facilities. Patrons enjoy dinner by the bite from around the world as they tour CCM Village at this unique benefit event. Tickets are available now and include special pricing for Young Professionals! “A Moveable Feast” Takes Guests Around the World
Join us for the return of “A Moveable Feast” on Friday, Jan. 21, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. Back by popular demand, the fundraiser features samplings of artistic and culinary delights while guests are transported around the world with a tour through CCM Village.
Guests may enjoy backstage tours and half hour samplings of student entertainment, including Chamber Music, Winds, Dance, Drama, Electronic Media, Big Band Jazz, Musical Theatre, Opera/Voice, Orchestra, Piano and Preparatory performances. By-the-bite cuisine accompanies the live entertainment. The evening’s program will begin in Corbett Auditorium with a Philharmonia and Chorale prelude and conclude with a Hot Jazz Finale at 10 p.m.
Tickets are $100 each for the general public and $75 each for “Friends of CCM” Members. Tickets can be purchased online or by calling 513-556-5000.
Event proceeds raised by the Friends of CCM, a group of 600 volunteers and an active board, support student scholarships for CCM “stars of tomorrow.”
