The CCM Preparatory Department has a variety of exciting events planned for this spring and summer. Mark your calendars now for fall semester, which begins September 10. Pre-registration will begin soon. Additionally, summer camps are filling quickly in ballet, orchestra, jazz, piano, guitar and theatre arts. CCM Prep Rings in Spring With An Exciting Series of Events
March will be filled with a series of phenomenal, talent-filled events thanks to CCM Prep. From dazzling musicals to chamber music recitals, the students of CCM’s Preparatory Department present something for everyone this month!
LINKS: Lonely Instruments for Needy Kids
Do you have an instrument that is collecting dust? If so, then mark your calendars for the 2011 LINKS Collection Days: Saturday, March 12 (10 a.m. – 5 p.m.) and Sunday, March 12 (12 p.m. – 5 p.m.) at the Joseph-Beth Booksellers in Rookwood Pavilion!
Once a year, the CCM Alumni Board of Governors hosts a two day drive to collect instruments for needy students. These instruments go to young budding musicians in the Greater Cincinnati area. All of the donations are tax decuctible and Joseph Beth Booksellers will donate 20% of all booksales and 10% of all cafe sales back to LINKS during the collection days. Entertainment during the collection will be provided by local music students of all ages. Learn more about LINKS after the jump.

CCM Preparatory Student to Perform at Grammy Awards
CCM Preparatory student Tim Ovia will perform at the 53rd-annual Grammy Awards this February as a member of the Grammy Jazz Choir. Ovia, a Finneytown High School senior, was one of 8 students chosen for the choir out of hundreds of applicants.
