Old Instruments Help Young Talents

LINKSMany young students in our area have the talent and desire to participate in music. But something is missing – an instrument! Your donation could be the missing link for a needy young student.

Through CCM’s Lonely Instruments for Needy KidS (LINKS) program, you can donate your used instruments to promising young musicians who cannot afford to rent or purchase their own. You can also support the overall program with a gift.

LINKS gathers instruments from the community and places them with needy children in local elementary, middle and high school bands and orchestras, as well as with students in CCM’s Preparatory Department. LINKS also equipped the Cincinnati Public School students who were matched with CCM students in the MelodyMates music mentoring program.

2013 LINKS Collection Days:

  • 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Saturday, March 9
  • Noon – 5 p.m. Sunday, March 10

Drop off location is Joseph-Beth Booksellers in Rookwood Pavilion.
