CCM Video: Highlights from the Opening Day of the 2014 World Piano Competition

The 2014 World Piano Competition got underway yesterday, as 11 of the world’s finest pianists performed in the opening day of the Competition’s First Round. Above, you can enjoy early highlights featuring competitors Reed Tetzloff, Hyun ji You, Maria Fuller and Baron Fenwick.

The Competition resumes at 9 a.m. this morning and runs throughout the day, as 10 more artists compete for a spot in the Semi-Finals!

University of Cincinnati Campuses Closed Until 10AM on Monday, March 3

Due to inclement weather the University of Cincinnati is closed until 10AM Monday 3/3/14. Classes are canceled until 10AM, and all offices — with the exception of those noted in the UC emergency closing policy (University Rule 30-16-01) — will be closed until 10AM. This announcement includes all campuses of the university.

  • Uptown (Main) Campus – East (Medical campus)
  • UC Blue Ash Campus
  • UC Clermont Campus
The College of Medicine and the Hoxworth Blood Center do not close.
