CCM Musical Theatre’s ‘Stars of Tomorrow’ Present Senior Showcase March 29-31
Cincinnati audiences will get a sneak peak of an original showcase created by the CCM Musical Theatre 2012 graduating class during the annual Musical Theatre Showcase, which runs from March 29 (Friends of CCM benefit performance) – March 31 in the Patricia Corbett Theater.
The March 29 Friends of CCM benefit starts at 7 p.m. and features a post-performance celebration and dinner by the bite. The March 30 and 31 performances take place at 8 p.m. and are free, but reservations are required.
CCM Celebrates the Songs of William Finn

CCM opens its 2011-12 Studio Series this month with Make Me a Song. A tribute to the music of composer William Finn, Make Me a Song runs Oct. 20 – 22 in the Cohen Family Studio Theater.
CCM’s “Rent” Cast Fundraises For Worthy Cause
The 24 member cast of CCM’s Mainstage Production of Rent raised money in support of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS throughout the show’s sold out run. The cast ultimately raised over $6,000 for this worthy cause, thanks to the generosity of our audience members.
CCM’s ‘Rent’ Earns Acclaim Award Nomination for Lighting Design
Our congratulations to Weston G. Wetzel, a second-year graduate student at CCM, who has earned his first Acclaim Award nomination. Wetzel has been singled out for his lighting design of CCM’s production of the groundbreaking rock musical Rent.

CCM Adds Additional Performance to ‘RENT’s Sold-Out Run
Due to overwhelming demand, CCM has added an additional performance to the previously booked-up run of Jonathan Larson’s Rent, which opens on February 24 in Patricia Corbett Theater. Tickets are now available for an 8 p.m. performance on Wednesday, March 2. This additional performance will include ASL interpretation for deaf and hearing-impaired patrons.
