CCM Announces Special YP Ticket Pricing for ‘A Moveable Feast’ Event

CCM is offering specially priced YP tickets for this month’s “Moveable Feast” extravaganza. The one-of-a-kind event begins at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 20, and features bite-sized performances by CCM’s “stars of tomorrow,” along with cocktails and dinner-by-the-bite.

Tickets are just $50 each of Young Professionals (ages 40 and under). Tickets are $75 each for “Friends of CCM” Members and $100 each for the general public. Learn more here.

A unique showcase of CCM’s world-class performing and media arts programs and state-of-the-art facilities, “A Moveable Feast” features samplings of artistic and culinary delights as attendees create their own menu and timetable of performances including jazz, musical theatre, piano, opera, drama, dance, orchestra, and wind symphony selections and much more.

The artistry of E-Media senior Kyle Howland will be on display at the 10:30 a.m. Cincinnati Pops Lollipops Family Concert on  Saturday, Jan. 28. Howland’s video will accompany the “Infernal Dance” and “Finale” from Stravinsky’s The Firebird.

CET Arts Channel Broadcasts CCM E-Media’s Performing Arts/Digital Future Panel Discussion

Earlier this year, CCM’s Electronic Media Division hosted Performing Arts/Digital Future, a panel of opera production and marketing experts gathered to examine the impact of the Metropolitan Opera’s live HD broadcasts in movie theatres across the country. Panelists included:

  • Patricia Beggs, General Director/CEO, Cincinnati Opera
  • Marcus Kuchle, Director of Artistic Operations, Cincinnati Opera
  • Robin Guarino, CCM Opera Department Chair and opera director

CCM’s Kevin Burke was recognized by the International Academy of Visual Arts with the Award of Distinction in the category of Commercials: Schools/Colleges/Universities for the PSA “The Graduate School at the University of Cincinnati: Experience It For Yourself” at the 17th Annual Communicator Awards. Burke is an associate professor in the Electronic Media Division.

The Communicator Awards is the leading international awards program honoring creative excellence for communications professionals. Founded by communication professionals over a decade ago, The Communicator Awards receives over 9,000 entries from companies and agencies of all sizes, making it one of the largest awards of its kind in the world.
