CCM announced the receipt of a $1 million donation, bequeathed from the late Betty Jean (Seeger) Dannenfelser. The gift – which came as a surprise to CCM faculty and staff – will be used to establish a student scholarship fund and enhance CCM faculty support.
Do you have an instrument that is collecting dust? If so, then mark your calendars for the 2011 LINKS Collection Days: Saturday, March 12 (10 a.m. – 5 p.m.) and Sunday, March 12 (12 p.m. – 5 p.m.) at the Joseph-Beth Booksellers in Rookwood Pavilion!
Once a year, the CCM Alumni Board of Governors hosts a two day drive to collect instruments for needy students. These instruments go to young budding musicians in the Greater Cincinnati area. All of the donations are tax decuctible and Joseph Beth Booksellers will donate 20% of all booksales and 10% of all cafe sales back to LINKS during the collection days. Entertainment during the collection will be provided by local music students of all ages. Learn more about LINKS after the jump.
