CCM’s annual Moveable Feast Benefit Event will be held tonight, despite the University of Cincinnati’s closure. The festivities begin at 6:15 p.m. this evening!

University of Cincinnati Closed Saturday, Jan. 25

Due to inclement weather the University of Cincinnati is closed all day on Saturday 1/25/14.  This announcement supersedes the previously announced 10AM start. Classes are canceled, and all offices — with the exception of those noted in the UC emergency closing policy (University Rule 30-16-01) — will be closed. This announcement includes all campuses of the university.

This closure does mean that tonight’s performance by the Ariel Quartet will be postponed. Once we have a new date identified, we will let you know!

The following units never close under any circumstances: College of Medicine, Hoxworth Blood Center, University Police, Office of Residence Life/Housing units, utility plants, emergency maintenance operations, any research unit where the integrity of the research must be preserved, and service units that routinely operate on a seven day per week, twenty-four hour per day service schedule.

University Hospital, UC Health, and related patient care units are not affected by this notice. Please visit http://www.UCHealth.com for information about University of Cincinnati Physiciansoffices and UC Health hospitals.

University of Cincinnati Closed Tuesday, Jan. 7

All campuses of the University of Cincinnati will remain closed for Tuesday, January 7 due to the severe winter weather. Classes will resume on Wednesday, January 8. Stay warm and safe until then!

UC Homecoming Activities to Close Uptown Streets Oct. 6

Please note: around the University of Cincinnati campus, some streets will close the afternoon of Saturday, Oct. 6, while traffic and parking on other streets will be restricted. If you plan on attending CCM’s 2 or 8 p.m. performances of William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream this Saturday, please plan accordingly.

University of Cincinnati Homecoming activities Oct. 6 will feature the annual Homecoming parade around campus at 3 p.m. and the 7 p.m. football game versus Miami University at UC’s Nippert Stadium.
