The University of Cincinnati Men’s and Women’s Choruses and Cabaret Singers present their Spring Concert at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 23, in UC’s Patricia Corbett Theater. This one-of-a-kind program features an eclectic mix of contemporary, Romantic, folk and world music under the direction of Olga Artemova, Michael Fuchs and Steven Berlanga.
CCM’s Concert Orchestra, Chorale, UC Men’s and Women’s Choruses, and Cincinnati Children’s Choir are pooling their resources for a performance of Carl Orff’s recognizable, rhythmic and authoritarian magnum opus Carmina Burana. Paired with choral works by Gerald Finzi and Ralph Vaughan Williams, this special concert event will be presented twice: at 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, and at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 22, in Corbett Auditorium on the University of Cincinnati campus.
