HAPPY NEW YEAR and welcome to the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Musicspring semester! Creative collaborations are an essential part of CCM’s vision of UnCompromising Excellence, and the concept of faculty and students working across divisional boundaries is one of five strategic priorities embedded within the ONECCM initiative. Through these efforts, the magic of building talent in front of your eyes comes alive on CCM Village’s many stages.

CCM is showcasing these partnerships through once-in-a-lifetime performances this semester, and perhaps nothing speaks more vividly to the collaborative spirit than CCM’s Moveable Feast, a veritable smorgasbord of student and faculty artists from all corners of our college working together to create a single can’t-miss evening on Friday, Jan. 23, 2015.

Moveable Feast returns to CCM Village on Friday, Jan. 23, 2015.

CCM also brings world-class guest artists to campus through ongoing collaborations like Opera Fusion, a special co-presentation between CCM’s Bearcat Piano Festival and the Xavier University Classical Piano Series and even a guest appearance by Shanghai’s East China Normal University choir at an upcoming CCM Choral concert.

Learn more about CCM’s schedule of public performances this spring by visiting ccm.uc.edu/about/villagenews/notations-ovations/spring-2015-calendar-of-events.

CCM’s mission is to provide life-changing experiences within a highly creative and multidisciplinary artistic environment, and fortunately for us all, the lives that are changed through this process of education include YOU – CCM’s patrons.

Welcome,
