CCM’s Division of Electronic Media welcomes guest speaker Nick Belperio to the Cohen Family Studio Theater from 6-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 24. The Senior Vice President of Marketing for the FOX Broadcasting Co., Belperio will provide an inside look at the development, promotion and evaluation of the new hit television drama Sleepy Hollow, scheduled to air Monday nights on FOX. This presentation is free and open to the general public.

Belperio was named Senior Vice President of Affiliate Marketing in November 2007. He is responsible for supervision of the network’s Affiliate Marketing team, which oversees marketing and promotion at 209 FOX affiliates across the U.S., as well as its National Radio Promotion department. Belperio also helps guide the general objectives of the network’s marketing team, effectively maximizing affiliate TV stations’ air across all dayparts, producing creative launch kits and promo merchandise, as well as maintaining significant presence on local websites and social media platforms.

Additionally, Belperio collaborates with the national media department in negotiating and executing innovative radio promotions in major markets across the U.S.  For nearly five years, Belperio was an Executive Producer of FOX All Access, a long-running syndicated entertainment radio program that aired in more than 125 U.S. radio markets. Under his supervision, FAA realized the highest ratings and revenue in the show’s 16-year history.  A popular guest speaker at universities, professional conferences and trade organizations, Belperio is widely regarded as one of the foremost experts in Hollywood on all aspects of local television and has conducted numerous workshops and seminars concerning general marketing, branding practices, leadership, viewer behavior, creative writing and problem-solving.

He has been at FOX for 16 years, having joined the network in 1997 as Vice President of Affiliate Marketing. While at FOX, his department has redefined network/affiliate relations by hiring staff from local TV stations, by providing more personalized service and by creating unique local marketing campaigns and opportunities for various FOX series.  He has played instrumental roles in the launches of dozens of signature FOX series, including  The Following; Sleepy Hollow; New Girl; Family Guy; NFL on FOX24; Bones; House, M.D.; Glee; Hell’s Kitchen; The X Factor; So You Think You Can Dance; the upcoming reboot of Cosmos; Almost Huma and all thirteen seasons of American Idol.
