CCM's Classical Guitar Workshop

CCM hosts its 29th annual Classical Guitar Workshop July 23 – 29, featuring a variety of hands-on learning opportunities for classical guitarists of all ages and skill levels.

Aspiring artists from around the world will participate in classes and ensembles (all organized by level, from beginner to advanced), as well as special sessions focusing on recital preparation, performance, arranging for guitar, early music instruments and more.

The week long workshop also includes a series of free, public recitals and concludes with the Participants Recital on July 29. The full recital series schedule is listed below.

This year’s workshop faculty includes Clare Callahan (CCM), Rodney Stucky (CCM), Renato Butturi (University of Evansville), Carlos Pérez (University of Santiago, Chile), Jeffrey Van (University of Minnesota), Karl Wohlwend (Otterbein University) and Stanley Yates (Austin Peay State University), as well as guest coaches Christopher Wilke, Sarah Wilke and Jeremy Collins.
