Four CCM alumni were featured on Lady Gaga’s recent ABC Thanksgiving special, “A Very Gaga Thanksgiving.”

Steve Kortyka (saxophone), Brian Newman (trumpet), Alex Smith (piano) and Scott Ritchie (bass) were featured on Lady Gaga’s duet with Tony Bennett. All four attended CCM in the late 90’s and early 2000’s as Jazz Studies or Performance Studies majors.

Newman was also featured on Lady Gaga’s Today Show performance last summer.
