More than 300 voices will fill the stage of Corbett Auditorium with favorite holiday songs during CCM’s annual Feast of Carols on December 3 and 4. The festivities will include treasured sounds of the season performed by CCM’s Chamber Choir, Chorale and Concert Orchestra, UC Men’s and Women’s Choruses, Cincinnati Children’s Choir and outstanding area guest choirs. Performances will take place on Saturday, Dec. 3 at 5 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 4 at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. in Corbett Auditorium on the University of Cincinnati campus.

The annual Feast of Carols – a tradition that dates back decades – will feature an eclectic mix of holiday songs ranging from the classic and traditional to the contemporary and even barbershop. “Feast of Carols is like going to Radio City Music Hall in New York,” said Earl Rivers, director of choral studies at CCM. “It’s a bit of classics, it’s a bit of pops, gospel and Broadway. It has everything you can imagine for the holiday season.”

Rivers joins conductors Brett Scott, Olga Artemova, Michael Fuchs, Robyn Lana, Sandra Thornton, Eva Floyd, Christopher Shortt, Cynthia Gray, Caroline Keith, Lynn Hartmuth, Jeff Letgers, Paul Coleman and Paul Gilman in inviting audiences to sing along to favorite holiday carols during the spectacular “Fa-La-La” Feast of Carols finale with audience, combined choirs and CCM’s Concert Orchestra.

In addition to CCM’s ensembles and the Cincinnati Children’s Choir, outstanding choruses from Greater Cincinnati will join in the festivities.
