CCM continues its Studio Series of dramas this month with Adam Rapp’s Red Light Winter. The play follows the lives of two men and a woman in very foreign territory on April 28-30 in the Cohen Family Studio Theater. Admission to Red Light Winter is free, but reservations are required. The drama opens with college friends Davis and Matt spending a wild, unforgettable evening in Amsterdam’s Red Light District with a beautiful young prostitute, Christina. Throughout the evening, heavy subdued feelings and past histories are revealed as the three spend time talking about their lives.
A year goes by and Matt and Davis are back living in New York. When Christina surprisingly comes back into their lives, a bizarre love triangle plays out in unexpected ways. Don’t miss this compelling drama filled with both harsh, emotional truths and tenderness of its complex characters. Red Light Winter is directed by k. Jenny Jones.
