Next week, CCM’s Ballet Ensemble presents “Dance in 3D: Drama, Diversion and Dalliance.” Directed by Michael Tevlin, the concert runs Dec. 3 – 5 in Patricia Corbett Theater. Experience CCM’s talented corps of dancers in a diverse program featuring new works, revivals and gems from the classical repertoire.
Award winning choreographer Michael Tevlin brings the music of country western music legend Patsy Cline to the stage, while internationally acclaimed faculty member Jiang Qi collaborates with CCM composer Michael Fiday to create a cutting edge new work.
The fireworks of the Grand Pas de Deux from Don Quixote staged by CCM faculty and former American Ballet Theatre star Deirdre Carberry and the charming Pas de Trois from Swan Lake staged by Suzette Boyer Webb both showcase the technical skills of our dancers.
Finally, guest choreographer Ka-Ron Brown Lehman’s Soul of Grace provides a dramatic flair with a message of hope and spirituality, perfect for the upcoming holiday season.
Tickets to the Fall Dance Concert run $15 general admission, $10 for non-UC students. UC students receive FREE admission. Contact the CCM Box Office for details.
