UC’s Center for Enhancement of Teaching and Learning recently spotlighted Director of Graduate Studies and Associate Professor of Music Theory Steven Cahn’s collaborative research with Peter Basser and Sinisa Pajevic on music and signal processing. “The Project,” as the work has been dubbed, marries aural and visual percepts into color-coded images and movies that track the generating musical performance.
