Last night, CCM’s Department of Drama presented its 9th annual Dolly Awards, which honor students for outstanding achievement throughout the year . Select students were recognized for their work in recent department productions as well as service and achievement, aesthetic leadership and sustained excellence throughout one’s CCM career.

CCM Drama presents the 2011 Senior Showcase on Wednesday, March 30 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. in CCM’s Patricia Corbett Theater. These events are free and open to the general public. No reservations are required.
Next week, CCM Drama opens our Mainstage Series with The Matchmaker, a classic comedy by the great American playwright Thornton Wilder. Today, we present a behind-the-scenes look at the make-up, wig and prosthetic work going into the show, courtesy of UC Photojournalism student Kevin Wauligman. The Matchmaker runs Oct. 27 (preview) through Oct. 31 in CCM’s Patricia Corbett Theater on the University of Cincinnati campus. Tickets are still available by calling 513-556-4183.
