CCM’s Nov. 19 Brass Showcase Concert To Raise Funds For Red Cross Hurricane Relief Efforts

CCM presents its annual fall Brass Showcase at 8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 19 in Corbett Auditorium. This concert will serve as a fundraiser to assist the American Red Cross in Hurricane Sandy Relief efforts.

Admission to the concert is free. Representatives from UC’s student chapter of the Red Cross will be at CCM to collect monetary donations. Learn more about the concert after the jump.

CCM Students and African Refugees Bond Through Theatre

Last June, CCM sent a contingent from our Drama Program to create theatre with residents of Dadaab, the world’s largest refugee camp. This month, UC Magazine takes a look back at the life-changing project in its “beyond our borders” issue.

On Tuesday, April 3, the Consulate of Italy in Detroit and CCM are pleased to present a benefit concert for the Associazione Nazionale Famiglie Emigrati’s (National Association of Immigrant Families or ANFE) Light of Life Fund featuring Massimo La Rosa, principal trombone for the Cleveland Orchestra, accompanied by Elizabeth DeMio, pianist.

The concert begins at 8 p.m. in CCM’s Robert J. Werner Recital Hall. Tickets to the concert are $15 general admission and $10 for children 12 and under and can be purchased at the door. For additional information, please contact the ANFE at anfe.benefitconcert.cincinnati@gmail.com or 216-501-3063.

CCM Musical Theatre’s ‘Stars of Tomorrow’ Present Senior Showcase March 29-31

Cincinnati audiences will get a sneak peak of an original showcase created by the CCM Musical Theatre 2012 graduating class during the annual Musical Theatre Showcase, which runs from March 29 (Friends of CCM benefit performance) – March 31 in the Patricia Corbett Theater.

The March 29 Friends of CCM benefit starts at 7 p.m. and features a post-performance celebration and dinner by the bite. The March 30 and 31 performances take place at 8 p.m. and are free, but reservations are required.

CCM Announces Special YP Ticket Pricing for ‘A Moveable Feast’ Event

CCM is offering specially priced YP tickets for this month’s “Moveable Feast” extravaganza. The one-of-a-kind event begins at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 20, and features bite-sized performances by CCM’s “stars of tomorrow,” along with cocktails and dinner-by-the-bite.

Tickets are just $50 each of Young Professionals (ages 40 and under). Tickets are $75 each for “Friends of CCM” Members and $100 each for the general public. Learn more here.
